Ki Aikido is a self-defence technique with elements of philosophy, psychology, and etiquette woven into the exercises and movements. In the art of Ki Aikido there is no aggression, no violence, no tension and no competition. The purpose of the practice is to learn to coordinate our mind and body, to develop inner strength, confidence and body awareness.
Ki Aikido does not rely on size or strength in any way. Classes are suitable for all levels of fitness, all abilities and sizes.
Classes run on Thursday afternoons:
Juniors: 4.30 – 5.30pm – $5 per class
Teenagers: 5.30 – 6.30pm – $5 per class
Adults: 6.30 – 8.30pm – $15 per class
First two classes are free!
Wear something loose and comfortable with slip on shoes or thongs (to be removed for mat work).
