Celebrate Mother’s Day with a FREE family photo taken at Ripley Town Centre.
Mothers, fathers, grandparents and children are invited to take part!
You will receive a free digital copy of your photo prior to Mother’s Day – the perfect Mother’s Day gift!
You can also choose to have your photo displayed at a community exhibition at Ripley Town Centre between 7th – 15th May to help celebrate and showcase the mothers in our community. If you choose to be part of the exhibition, you can also receive a free 8×10 hard copy photo after the exhibition.

About the photographer:
A self-taught photographer, Richard McLaren’s photographic career began after his diagnosis of Post Traumatic Stress attributed to his service in the RAAF and deployment to Vietnam in 1969-70. After his diagnosis in 1995, Richard used photography as his coping strategy to get through the worst part of the health crisis and found it to be a very effective, self-managed psychotherapy. So successful was his therapy, with the assistance of Disabilities Queensland, that he developed a basic photography course which to date has been used to train over 400 people with a disability, mental illness or who are from at risk community groups.
