BUSINESS CASE FOR RAIL EXTENSION
LABOUR’S QUEENSLAND INFRASTRUCTURE PLAN
The Labour Government has recently announced its support for a business case to extend the rail line from Springfield to Ipswich.
It has pledged $1.3 billion in new measure that target motorists from Coolangatta to Cape York, promising to cut traffic snarls and get more cars off the road. These plans include upgrades to Ipswich Motorway and a business case for extending the rail line from Springfield to Ipswich.
